I define success as having wayyy more than enough money to cover needs and wants of you and your children, if you have kids, and most importantly being HAPPY. When you watch documentaries or scroll on the timeline you’ll see clearly a lot of “rich” “people are not truly happy. So once I have checked off BOTH boxes I’ll feel I accomplished success. When I feel like giving up, I usually think to myself, “It’s just not ready to happen yet.” But that doesn’t mean it can’t or won’t happen later. If I get to this point, I usually take some time away from whatever I am working on because the distance allows me to come back to the project with a fresh perspective. Our emotions – whether we are on a high or a low – cloud our judgment, so pausing a project and returning to it later can breathe new life into it. And we may find a better opportunity around the corner. Read more>>

I feel like I’ve always had a pretty high tolerance for risk. Growing up on a farm probably had something to do with it. I can remember being out in the fields with my brother when we were young, burning brush with just a chainsaw and some kerosene. It would probably be illegal today, but back then, that’s just how things got done. Read more>>

The natural and simple beauty of our surroundings. While I am blessed to live in the Lowcountry of South Carolina, surrounded by some of the most beautiful places in the world, I feel that we can find beauty in nature anywhere. My favorite thing is to find something simple that takes my breath away. A droplet of rain on a leaf, the footprint of a tiny bird in the sand, the reflection of sun on the water, the contrast of the colors of marsh grasses… Mother Nature’s most special gifts are the ones in plain sight. You don’t need a special camera or photoshop – it’s all right there. Just step outside. Read more>>

Spiritual growth, nurtured by prayer and a faith-based foundation, has played a crucial role in my journey to success. I believe that thoughts are translated into words, words have substantial impact, actions become ingrained habits, habits shape character, and character ultimately defines destiny. Also, a plant-based lifestyle and daily exercise have produced profound health benefits. Moreover, prioritizing family and maintaining a supportive social circle are indispensable for sustained growth and success. Read more>>
Tibby Wornick | Owner and Creative Director The Sparkle Bar.co | Fairy Hair Tinsel by Tibby
When I started my Fairy Hair business, I was transitioning out of a decade-long career in education, most of which I spent teaching 7th grade English. Teaching was something I loved, but after three years of navigating COVID regulations and witnessing the toll it took on both my mental health and the education system, I was burned out. I had lost my creative edge. It became clear that I needed a change. I had grown up a creative and artistic kid participating in theater, film, and photography. I expressed myself through fashion, dying my hair bright colors, and creating unique experiences for my inner circle. I wanted to get back to her. Read more>>
