Hi Victoria, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
After years in the automotive industry, I felt a strong desire for a change – a shift toward something I truly love and where I could excel. Throughout my life, I have always considered myself to be artistic, with a deep passion for interior design that stems from my creative spirit. This passion, combined with my love for transforming spaces, led me to the beautiful world of wallpaper installation.

There is something incredibly fulfilling about being a part of the journey to create a stunning environment within my clients’ homes. Each installation offers me the opportunity to turn a once mundane room into a captivating work of art, and I find great joy in witnessing the transformation unfold. Knowing that my hands can contribute to the aesthetic beauty of a space fills me with pride and inspiration.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
As a dedicated wallpaper installer, I understand how challenging it can be to find skilled professionals in this field. I strive to set myself apart by emphasizing exceptional communication with my clients and offering valuable insights on design prints that will enhance their homes. Over the past year, I have experienced remarkable growth, transitioning from 60 installs last year to around 22 installs each month! This journey has been incredibly fulfilling, as being part of the process that beautifies my clients’ homes never becomes mundane. I’ve leveraged social media to expand my reach, with many clients graciously spreading the word about the work I’ve completed in their spaces.

While no career is without its challenges, I believe that when you genuinely enjoy what you do, those challenges become opportunities for growth. Each installation is unique, pushing me to learn and refine my techniques continuously. The joy I feel when transforming a room from a design vision into a stunning reality is unmatched.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Living in Charleston, South Carolina, is truly a delightful experience, with its stunning landscapes and delectable culinary scene. If a friend visits for a week, I would eagerly introduce them to some of my favorite local gems.

First stop: Folly Beach! We’d grab a breakfast bagel from Bagels by Kiss—my personal favorite is the everything bagel with plain cream cheese—then hit the beach for a sun-soaked day. Afterward, a slice from Woody’s on Folly would keep us satisfied until dinner.

For a casual evening, I adore The O Bar, where oysters are shucked right in front of you, pure bliss! Other seafood favorites include Coast, The Royal Tern,The Kingstide, Tempest, and Delany Oyster House.

On Tuesdays, it’s sushi night at Locals for half-off rolls; their sushi is amazing! We could also enjoy lunch at Shem Creek, where I love to snack on crab & artichoke dip, pretzels, and a delightful cheese board.

No visit is complete without Lewis BBQ, especially their turkey with mac ‘n’ cheese. We could stroll down King Street for some shopping, visit the local artist market, and sip drinks with a view at The Rooftop at the Vendue or the Fish House in Mt. Pleasant. Charleston truly has it all!

I want to take a moment to express my profound gratitude to my incredible family, my wonderful boyfriend, my supportive second family, and my amazing followers and clients. Your unwavering belief in me and continuous support have been instrumental to my journey. Each of you has played a significant role in helping me grow my business, and for that, I am truly thankful.
