Meet Teezy & Cha’ | Kingdom Ambassadors

We had the good fortune of connecting with Teezy & Cha’ and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Teezy &, can you share the most important lesson you’ve learned over the course of your career?
Teezy: Seek first the kingdom, understand how to build a relationship with God. Be yourself and focus on the plan God has for you by not allowing others to distract you.

Cha’: I’ve learned to be authentic. I want to walk in any room and always be myself. It’s important to know what your boundaries are because you can get lost in what social media tells you.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Teezy: I’m excited about things like cooking, dancing, creating and editing a new video. To gathering words for a song I’m writing or embracing the moments. These are tools I use to express myself but It wasn’t easy to try to decide what I wanted to do for work. I’ve learned that as long as I’m doing what Im blessed with it doesn’t matter what others think. I know that I’m enough and that I’m loved by God and so are you!

Cha’: I always acknowledge myself as a child of God first and foremost. Also I enjoy creating content and documenting moments in my life. Starting YouTube has opened me up to being more comfortable with encouraging people with where I am in the now. I was very uncomfortable on camera at first but now I try my best to speak with purpose and enthusiasm. I hope to be an example of being who you are without shrinking back. I almost lost myself trying to fit in the “internet” lifestyle. But I realized I’m much more than that and so are you. We are all here for a beautiful purpose. We may fall and fail but don’t ever let that discourage you to try again. I want people to start believing that God will bring you prosperity by being obedient and faithful to him.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Teezy: We are the type of people who enjoy to eat, so we’ll love to show family a good food spot. Different sceneries and so many varieties of food that they can explore. We also love good activities such as bowling or skating who doesn’t love to have fun.

Cha’: Pictures are very important. So whenever we get to spend time with family it’s necessary we take so many pictures. Any setting where we can laugh eat and share the most embarrassing memories are enough.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Teezy: Honestly I couldn’t say that anyone need more of a Shoutout and who deserves more recognition then The son of God Jesus. In today’s society his name isn’t brought up enough. He is my motivation to be a better me and if it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t still be here today.

Cha’: I must give glory, honor, and praise to God. I am nothing without him. God has carried us both through the valley and to the mountain top. He has called me for a specific purpose that I’m still trying to figure. When I doubted my ability and got discouraged God got me through. It’s nothing that I could’ve ever done to get to the place where I am now.
