We had the good fortune of connecting with Tea Hines and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tea, we’d love to start by asking you about lessons learned. Is there a lesson you can share with us?
The most important lesson I have learned in business is time. Timing is importance because if you go too fast in business you could miss the important foundational aspect of what your building. And if you go to slow, your risk are greater with most importantly waste. Waste of money and growth. So I’ve learned to govern my time accordingly and not waste it in anything that doesn’t pertain to my business or brand.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I own an accounting and tax prep firm We help businesses form with a tax strategy in motion, build credit, individual tax preparation, small business taxes, bookkeeping, and tax resolution services.
What sets me apart is that we are not machines but people that want what’s best for you. This year, our application platform will be more virtual than ever. We want to provide you with less hassle and discretion to work through your finances.
What I want the world to know is that, in my most hardest time of my life….I kept faith in front of me. Owning a business is super hard and some of us make it look easy. In order to have a legacy or something that I feel my family doesn’t have….its takes dedication and hard decisions. Some days will be tough but you make it through. What has helped me is to write it down or create a vision board so that I could look back at the goals I’ve set.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Ok so fun fact of me, I don’t drink. Oh gosh, lets go to Frannie and the Fox because the ambience feels refreshing. Head over to Isle of Palms/Mt Pleasant for shopping during the week or old Summerville and then to Moncks Corner for a good ole burger and fries at the Burger Factory(and a slice of red velvet cake).
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Gosh, there are so many I’d like to thank for always pushing me and encouraging me. I usually tell them often but if you haven’t heard it from me….I love anyone of you that has poured into my growth of Elite Tax Group before the world catches up. Thank you so much!
