Hi Sheree, how does your business help the community?
Documenting life’s pivotal moments holds profound significance. When our memories waver, photographs endure, acting as timeless storytellers for generations. While my expertise lies in capturing weddings, often considered among life’s most monumental occasions, it’s sometimes the subtle, everyday moments that leave an indelible mark. It’s in these fleeting, often overlooked instances that we find life’s true essence. Capturing unscripted moments, set against the backdrop of our daily lives, weaves a narrative that genuinely reflects the joy and richness inherent in everyday living.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
One thing that truly differentiates me is my commitment to authentic storytelling. Instead of forcing people into the latest trend’s mold, I aim to capture moments in their most genuine form. I’m genuinely proud of the journey I’ve undertaken in my career, especially for preserving that initial passion. It’s so easy to fall into a pattern, forgetting the ‘why’ behind the journey. However, every day I’m reminded of the choices I made and the gratitude I feel for this path.

Sure, the journey has had its challenges, but it’s been one I wouldn’t exchange for the world. Along the way, I’ve gathered invaluable lessons. Most notably, I’ve realized that there’s always space to evolve, better oneself, and seek guidance. Truly, if you have the passion and drive, the only limit is yourself.

If there’s a core message behind my brand, it’s this: You’re perfect just as you are. And I hope that someday, I’ll have the honor of capturing the essence of your life in images.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
For an ideal weekend, everything starts with a rich brew. Being a Starbucks aficionado, it’s our first pitstop! With our favorite beverages in hand, we’ll stroll through the scenic Romare Bearden Park in Charlotte, then wander into the historic charm of the French Quarter. As lunchtime nears, we’ll indulge in sushi from one of the city’s standout spots. Perhaps, later, we’ll immerse ourselves in some culture at a local museum. To wind down, a quaint bookstore visit is a must, ensuring our reading lists remain ever-growing. Finally, we’ll retreat home, settling in for a cozy movie night complete with our favorite snacks.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My husband and indispensable business partner has been my unwavering pillar of support at every moment. With his creative insights, he constantly rejuvenates my artistic spirit and fortifies me, enabling me to deliver my best for our couples. His infectious energy and joy on wedding days not only put our couples at ease but also uplift my own spirit. His optimism and positivity are invaluable. To put it simply, navigating this venture, and life itself, would be unimaginable without him.
