We had the good fortune of connecting with Rob Seel and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rob, why did you pursue a creative career?
I really had no choice. It chose me!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I like to see beauty in everyday things that people seldom notice. It’s about “seeing things” and framing them to show others. Professionally, the biggest challenge has been (other than getting work) is getting people to appreciate that if something is worth doing, it’s worth doing well.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Upstate SC has so much to offer. We’d take a drive up to the Blue Ridge Mountains, spend a day downtown Greenville, enjoy local restaurants, introduce them to musician friends at their shows, etc.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My dad!
