Hi Monica, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
The concept of work-life balance has evolved over the years, and its meaning has changed for me.

The introduction of smartphones in the early1990s and even more the late 2000s changed the way I view work-life balance.

The new technology allowed people including myself to work from anywhere at any time, which means you could never truly disconnect from work.

The COVID-19 pandemic also changed the way I view work-life balance. With the shift to remote work, I find it even harder to disconnect from work and maintain a healthy balance between personal and professional life.

Today work-life balance is not just about the amount of time spent at work versus the amount of time spent on personal activities.

It is also about work-life integration, which means blending personal and professional responsibilities to achieve a more harmonious balance between the two.

I have learned to set non negotiable boundaries to balance my life.

I understand how different aspects of life can impact myself and others.

I identify my priorities in life whether personal or professional.

Reflect on my current situation and identify areas that need change.

Set boundaries whether physical, emotional, or related to time.

Learn to say no to requests that encroach on my personal time.

Take care of my physical, emotional, and mental health.

I have some unique qualities that set me apart from other models. Respectfully I am aging gracefully! I thank God.

Yes I have distinctive physical features, such as a beauty mole that most women wished for, my eyes, my cheekbones, my facial structure and my smile makes me stand out and above all my relationship with God . Hey that’s just who I am.

Just recently I received a compliment from a photographer, it was my first time meeting her, she said my facial structure are amazing for the camera. I thought that was kindhearted.

My personal style is different from others, my fashion sense and ability to pull off various looks are unparalleled..

My versatility, I excel in various modeling niches, like commercial, mature, print, and runway modeling.

My personality charisma, confidence, and friendly demeanor make me a joy to work with.

Definitely my passion is always genuine for modeling and creative expression shines through modeling.

My authenticity staying true to myself and my values make me relatable.

I can adapt to different themes, styles, and directions, making me a sought-after model.

These qualities combined make me a unique and valuable asset in the modeling world.

From humble beginnings to runway shows and photoshoots, I’m grateful for the journey. Hard work, determination, and a dash of confidence have brought me here” Excited for what’s next!”

Modeling has taught me that true beauty comes from within. It’s not just about physical appearance, but about confidence, resilience, and kindness. I learned to embrace my uniqueness, love myself flaws and all, and spread positivity wherever I go.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well this should be fun hahaha

Everyone loves great food and music right ? I would for sure take them to my popular restaurants for favorite eats and drinks.

Outdoor spaces a nice park or garden and beaches for relaxation.

How about a professional sports game or live concert ? I enjoy college football, hockey, and soccer games on the list. Depending on the season.

Let’s not leave out the fun stuff makeup and beauty stores. Lol

Some of the most fun, interesting, exciting people, places or things to check out would be browsing a consignment shop for great deals and or explore vibrant areas with unique shops. Maybe taking a walk while eating some good tasting butter pecan ice cream! I enjoy fellowshipping with the elders learning a lot from them and applying their wisdom to my life. It delight me to contribute my time doing volunteer work at the church or for any local shelters especially doing the holiday season. I am also passionate about my grand kids! They can get anything from me just ask ha ha . I enjoy attending all their sports activities and recitals. My oldest granddaughter just turned 21! Goodness who’s getting old me or her.? Doing my mediation moments I am grateful to have a conversation with the Lord appreciating all he has done for me.
