We had the good fortune of connecting with Libby Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Libby, where are your from? We’d love to hear about how your background has played a role in who you are today?
I’m a proud Swansea, SC native, a humble town on the outskirts of the midlands, where my family’s legacy of limitless aspirations and unwavering perseverance has flourished. My parents’ remarkable accomplishments in their successful construction business serve as a constant reminder of the power of dedication and hard work. From a young age, my siblings and I embraced our roles as both laborers and office staff, fostering a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence that has shaped our lives.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Embarking on the creative journey as an actress and model has been a blissful and transformative experience for me. I approached it with an open heart and mind, seeking personal healing and growth. Despite the challenges of memory loss and limitations, I persevered and shared my story to inspire others. My wish is for everyone to embrace their dreams, even in the face of fear and uncertainty, and take the leap of faith. Just do it!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My remarkable sister, Sharon Washington is my closest friend. As a food and travel aficionado, she will provide the ultimate experience on all things adventurous. Outside of work, I find comfort in the familiarity
of loved ones.
To complete the weekend, I would like to introduce my team, including Bobby Nelson of BobcatEnt Carolina and southern soul singer Amp Carter AMPLIFIED. An evening with us would not be complete without the full team experience. We would conclude the weekend by doing what we all love best – eating, fellowship where Amp will perform “Show me how to Love” and Bobby showcasing his culinary skills on his custom grill.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My success is largely due to the influence of my parents, Shelly and Alice Washington, who instilled in me the power of embracing the impossible. I am also grateful for the support of my loved ones, including my children, siblings, and grandsons, who have been instrumental in my journey. As a 57-year-old model, actress, and brand ambassador for Southern Soul Skins, LLC, I am proud to be on a creative path. Currently, I am promoting BobcatEnt Carolina’s skins, Sumn Serious flavor through innovative initiatives this partnership is set to address future endeavors & opportunities worldwide.
