We had the good fortune of connecting with Jessyca Shuttleworth and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jessyca, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
In the journey of steering Omada Solutions, success feels like a collaboration of various elements. First off, having a business partner I genuinely trust, love, and respect is like having a secret weapon. It makes the whole journey a bit less bumpy.

Then there’s the people factor—not just our awesome internal team but also the vendors we choose to roll with. Picking partners who get what we’re about? It’s like setting the stage for success.

But if I had to pick the star of the show, it’s keeping it real. My secret sauce? Bringing my authentic, raw self into everything we do. No masks, no filters—just straight-up me. It’s not just a brand strategy; it’s a life strategy, and it’s worked wonders for Omada Solutions. Because, let’s be real, people connect with realness. That’s the magic ingredient that makes everything click, from our team to our clients.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
The Omada Solutions journey has been this fantastic ride driven by passion and collaboration, all anchored in a commitment to keeping things real.

What makes us stand out? Well, we’re not your typical recruiting firm. We’re all about crafting real, meaningful connections—not just matching skills on paper, but really getting what makes our clients and candidates tick.

The road here wasn’t a walk in the park. It threw us some challenges that demanded resilience, adaptability, and a whole lot of continuous learning. But you know what they say—turn challenges into growth opportunities. Those hurdles? They’ve become the stepping stones that got us to where we are today.

Omada Solutions isn’t just a brand; it’s a story. It’s about keeping it authentic, being transparent, and understanding that there’s a human behind every professional journey. Our story is still unfolding! Whether you’re a client looking for the perfect match or someone on the hunt for the right career move, we’re here as your dedicated partner. Our story is all about the magic that happens when authenticity meets meaningful connections in the business world.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Oh, if my bestie were around, we’d dive into the local scene with some seriously good vibes. Here’s a peek into our laid-back week:

Day 1: Thrill & Chill

We’d start the day hitting the rapids at the Whitewater Center, ’cause nothing says adventure like a bit of river action.
A lazy drive to Crowders Mountain for the kind of views that make you catch your breath. And, of course, a bit of a hike for the soul.
Evening plans? Either a zen yoga class or letting loose at ecstatic dance – depends on the mood.

Day 2: Foodie Fiesta

The morning would kick off at my cozy go-to, The Giddy Goat, for the best coffee fix.
Lunch at Deli Street, this local joint that’s got a bunch of vegan goodies to satisfy any craving.
Post-lunch, we’d mosey along the greenway, just taking it easy and soaking in the goodness.

This is basically my way of showing off the best bits of our area – a mix of adventure, good eats, and some quality nature time.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Embarking on this gratitude journey feels like attempting to capture the universe in a snapshot—there are countless stars that have illuminated my path. Here’s my attempt to acknowledge some of the cosmic forces in my story:

First and foremost, my business partner Katie deserves a celestial shoutout. From walking on fire at a Tony Robbins event to the bold decision of quitting our jobs and launching Omada together—every step has been an adventure. Doing work and life with you, Katie, is the true essence of shared success.

To my significant other, Will, who’s been a steadfast believer and supporter from day one. Starting Omada in the same year we got married and moved into a new house could have been overwhelming, but his unwavering support turned it into a thrilling journey. Going big is our shared anthem, and I’m grateful for every note.

A constellation of coaches, mentors, and teachers has also played pivotal roles. Kathi Hendrick, for guiding me back to myself, to coming back into right relationship with my body—the sacred vessel. Luisa Molano, for guiding me back to my beliefs and foundations, helping me sculpt new ones along the way. Candace Sauve, a friend and sister with an abundance of tools and resources, always meeting me exactly where I’m at with love. Victoria Martinez, my yoga guru, sharing spiritual wisdom generously. Lauren Widrick, for expanding my horizons and recognizing the human in me.

To the Omada team, internal employees, and external partners: Thank you for seeing and believing in both me and Katie, and for helping us turn our dreams and vision into a reality!

Then come the cosmic expanders and teachers—Tony Robbins, Jesse Itzler, Sara Blakely, Martha Beck, Elizabeth Gilbert, Emily Fletcher, Dan Sullivan, Byron Katie, Eckhart Tolle, Brendon Burchard, Light Watkins, Adam Grant, and many more. They might not be aware, but their wisdom has been a guiding light.

Gratitude overflows for this cosmic dance of mentors, friends, and inspirations, each contributing to the success of my journey.
