We had the good fortune of connecting with Jennifer Rosado and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jennifer, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I like to revisit this question at least a few times a year. It has a way of getting me re-centered and focused. This is especially true when I seem to be hitting road block after road block. The most important factor behind my success? Getting back up no matter how many times I fall, no matter how hard something is. Persistence. Using my failures as lessons and even at times welcoming them. I do believe this has helped me get to where I am after 20 years of building my brand.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
As the owner and broker-in-charge of a boutique real estate brokerage in Upstate, SC, we pride ourselves on our personalized approach to real estate services. What sets us apart from larger, more impersonal brokerages is our commitment to investing time and effort into truly understanding the needs of our clients. We aim to provide tailored solutions that not only deliver results but also empower our clients to make life-changing decisions with confidence. Our dedication to enriching our community is what I’m most proud of. Alongside running the brokerage, I devote my time to mentoring and volunteering with various local non-profit organizations. This community involvement fuels my passion and drive – it’s why I do what I do. By succeeding in business and real estate, I am able to give back to those who need it most, especially the youth in our local area.The journey to where I am today hasn’t always been smooth. Like any business, we faced our share of challenges. However, these obstacles only strengthened our resolve and taught us invaluable lessons about resilience, adaptability, and maintaining focus on our ultimate goal – serving our clients and community effectively.One key lesson I’ve learned is that success is not just about profit margins; it’s about making a positive impact on people’s lives. Whether helping a first-time home buyer take the plunge or guiding someone into real estate investment, every interaction is an opportunity to make a difference.I want the world to know that at the heart of our brand is a profound commitment to service. From assisting clients with their real estate needs to imparting financial literacy to local kids, our mission extends beyond business. We believe our life’s purpose is to serve and help, and we strive to fulfill this purpose every day in every way possible.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love this question! My best friend still lives back in my hometown of Brooklyn, NY but she does visit at least once per year. Every visit we try to do something different although we usually find ourselves spending our time strolling along Main Street, Downtown Greenville. The area’s continual growth never fails to present a new restaurant or shop for us to explore. Right now, I would say I would plan for us to have an exquisite delicious dinner at The Grand Bohemian Hotel followed by a visit to the all new Carmellas Cafe and Dessert bar to satisy our sweet tooth. I highly recommend Carmellas!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would love to shout out my family. They have all provided me with love, support and encouragement for as long as I can remember. It’s easy to share with them my worries and my failures because usually they are the ones that snap me out of any funk I am falling into. They help me remember who I am and how great I can be. They also help remind me of my why.
