We had the good fortune of connecting with Ethan Carpenter and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ethan, what is the most important factor behind your success?
I would have to say that one our biggest competitive advantages is the pride we take in our client relationships. We are very intentional about creating lifelong relationships and treating the clients with respect and dignity. Over the course of two years we have created a primarily referral-based business and do not rely on paid leads. People have not only loved our work, but the experience involved. The clients always feel comfortable in their home when we are working and do not have to worry about turning their back on us or leaving the house while we work – because they trust us. This has allowed our name to be passed from friend to friend, family member to family member, or neighbor to neighbor. Additionally, we actually care deeply about the end result and strive to leave the client with a happy smile on their face.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
It was not easy getting to where we are now. I started my business at 22 years old and am 25 now. Over the past 3 years I have made countless mistakes, had many hiccups, had many ups and downs, all of it. The idea of quitting was never an option though because my business was all I had and all I knew how to do. My vision and perseverance is what carried me through. From the start I wanted to create a very successful brand that is associated with high-quality work and high-quality experiences. That vision is what carried me through to where we are today, and things are finally starting to take off and it’s extremely exciting. I’ve learned countless personal and professional lessons along the way that all have made me mature very quickly. The pass three years have honed my attention to detail, my meticulousness, my ability to communicate with confidence, and so on. Now i want to take these lessons and inject them back into the business to make the whole operation more competent. What i want the world to know would be to never let go of your vision, to persevere when things are tough, and to never give up on yourself. Amazing things are possible with strong self-belief, and if I can do it, anyone can.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
A few great places are Falls Park, walking on the Swamp Rabit, checking out the Comedy Zone and Coffee Underground. I get a lot of my online work done at Chestnut Coffee on Verdae. Pelham road has alot of great restaurant spots. The general downtown Greenville area is amazing. Catching a Drive game is always a blast as well.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
