We had the good fortune of connecting with Enrique Betancourt and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Enrique, what role has risk played in your life or career?
For me taking risks in life is what makes life interesting. I think the ability of being able to take that risk, do something different or leave your comfort zone without knowing what’s next is the best path towards change. Life changing situations usually are those that take you out of the known ground and place you in a new and unknown territory where you have to learn from scratch and that creates a new version of you.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Honestly I think we are all special in our way, What I love about art and creative fields is that people can discover a new world inside them and with the enough patience and love you can learn how to express yourself through your work and connect with others.
I´m excited about a lot of stuff to be honest. I didn´t imagine I would be where I am today if you ask me 6 years ago, when I decided to leave my country Venezuela and move to Chile when I was around 20.
Since then my life have been a roller coaster of experiences, new learning, growing and still I have the same curiosity everyday about matter of life and how to take the best of out it.
I´ve learned that every person is walking towards a different path even if they look similar. So trust your process, love it and understand that nobody but you can play your role.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would love do a road trip or go to the mountains, do a hike, find silence and peace in the woods. But also it would be fun visit the town, go to different coffee shops or old building to know about the history of the place, try different kind of food.
I would love to have moments for intellectual discussions and talk about matter of life from a rational point of view and exchange ideas with friends, listen to them and have healthy feedback.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Family. Philosophy. Books. Friends.

For me those things make life worth living. Every one of these factors play an important role in the life of each one of us, even if we don´t notice it. I´m grateful for every person I´ve connected with the last couples years of my life through my work and life itself.
I would love to recognize my fiancé and future wife because thanks to her I found love in myself and now I’m able to share it through my work and my relationships with other.
