We had the good fortune of connecting with Christopher Mizell and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Christopher, what do you think makes you most happy? Why?
Catering makes me happy. I love meeting new people and “wowing” them from start to finish. Once I meet them, we usually win them over.

What should our readers know about your business?

I Do Artistic Catering is a family owned business that takes pride in their customer satisfaction.

Chef Chris has always been in the restaurant business. He grew up with a family of chefs and has retained many of their recipes and now has an abundance of his own “secret” fabulous recipes!

What started out as something small, has turned into something BIG.

This was not easy by any means. But I have had a great group of individuals push me to be the best that I can be.

We treat every customer the same. We stride to give them 100% customer satisfaction.

We WOW them not only with our customer service, but the taste of our food.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would for sure take them to Downtown Charleston. We would park near King Street and bounce from restaurant to restaurant. We would hit every rooftop bar possible.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My Staff. Without them, I wouldn’t be successful.
