We had the good fortune of connecting with Brittany Marion and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brittany, what do you attribute your success to?
Faith is the most important factor behind my success and my brand. Without faith, you have nothing. Faith isn’t just believing in what your physical eye can’t see, but also believing in the impossible. Many people won’t understand or believe in your vision, and you have to be at peace with that. Your vision is exactly that; YOUR VISION, it’s not meant for any one else’s understanding. God said in Mathew 17:20; “If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall ‘remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you”. Faith starts with truly believing in you.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
“It’s more than an experience, it’s luxury”. B.Gla’Mour Esthetics is about all things luxury within the beauty industry. Every woman loves to look and feel beautiful. I believe that luxury is beauty, and that’s what my brand is all about. No matter your age, ethnicity, nor weight; every woman that experiences B.Gla’Mour Esthetics walks out a more confident woman. Without confidence, my business would not be where it is today. Every day wasn’t easy. There were moments of self doubt, unwanted but needed sacrifices, financial losses, hurt, and betrayal but I kept my vision clear. I found strength within my weaknesses. No matter the doubt, nor obstacle; I stayed the course and never gave up. All of my lessons along the way taught me that you chose the outcome of your story. We may not be the writer of our story, but we hold the key to our destination.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to begin by thanking my almighty God. Without him; I wouldn’t be the woman that I am nor succeed within my business and the beauty industry. There were many tears shed, wavered faith, and even questionable strength within myself; but God carried me through. My closest friends, and immediate family that has truly supported me through my entire process through school, lessons, and blessings. They have truly been my backbone, encouragement, and inspiration through my growing process as an entrepreneur. God knew I needed them, and I can’t thank him enough for my village.
