We had the good fortune of connecting with Brittany Hollman and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brittany, Let’s talk about principles and values – what matters to you most?
When owning a business, it is so important to take accountability when you make a mistake. Being open and honest with your customers is so important. We are all human. We are going to make mistakes and that is okay. I follow this in everyday life and while raising my daughter also.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I started Little Peachy Designs in 2017. Before 2017, I made and sold items just for fun. In 2017, I actually came up with the name and began this journey. My business name is named after a Festival in Gilbert called Lexington County Peach Festival. I wanted the name to have something to do with the small town that I grew up in. I have so many childhood memories about Gilbert and the festival. My dad was a volunteer firefighter in Gilbert for 30 years so we have always been involved with the town and festival.

Being a small business owner has its downfalls but it also has its highs. Having a customer tell me their idea of a cup, shirt or whatever, being able to bring it to life then seeing their face light up is what keeps me going. I will always stand by my quality of product. If I wouldn’t wear/use the item myself, I would not sell that item. I want customers to be able to trust that whatever they get from me is going to last many years.

Growing your business takes a lot of love, patience, support from family and friends and, of course, faith in yourself. Without the support from my family and friends, I would not be where I am today. I can not thank everyone enough. This has always been my dream and I want to continue to grow bigger.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If they are animal lovers, I would defiantly take them to Eudora Wildlife Safari Park. It is a drive thru animal park in Salley, SC. You get to feed and pet several different types of animals. It is always a wonderful time and when you leave, your stomach will be hurting from laughing so much.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would love to give a shoutout to all of my friends and family who continue to share, tag, comment and just engage with my post on social media. Word of mouth has been the biggest thing that has helped my business grow.
