We had the good fortune of connecting with Brandon Stalter and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brandon, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
To always remember that it doesn’t rain forever. I used to be depressed & lost all motivation in life. I used unhealthy eating as an outlet / way to cope with my feelings. However, the important thing is that it made me into a stronger individual. I pushed through & used bodybuilding to turn my life around. If it wasn’t for my downfall in life…I most likely would’ve never began my bodybuilding fitness career. So due to that, I an thankful.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I became a certified fitness trainer after my depression. Once I began my fitness journey & started to see results from bodybuilding, I became nearly addicted to it. I loved seeing all my hard work beginning to pay off. After some time, I decided to enter my first competitive bodybuilding show. I was blessed on winning 1st place in my first show. I spent hours of research, watching YouTube videos, documentaries, and more. Nowadays, I create motivational Instagram Reels & Stories to help others who are going through hard times. I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to work with different companies & partake in multiple brand deals. My biggest deal was getting signed by Old School Labs right after I won my first bodybuilding show. Thankfully, I continue to have an ongoing deal with them after two years. Fast forward, now I work full-time as a Stretch Therapist for an amazing company called Stretch Zone. I’ve been a Stretch Therapist for a year & a half and love doing it.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love Charleston, South Carolina. My favorite is walking downtown, as there’s such a variety on what you can do. I always enjoy going on the water taxi, then walking down King Street. Also I love eating at California Dreaming.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would need to give a huge thank you to my family, as they had always supported & loved me throughout my life. I have been very blessed with such amazing parents & a wonderful family. Also another thing I am grateful for, is how close I am with my Grandpa. I actually play video games with him, such as Call of Duty & GTA. I always want to make him proud of me.
