We had the good fortune of connecting with Arthur Huntington and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Arthur, what do you attribute your success to?
While we believe there are several factors that can make a company successful, there is probably one that is at the heart of them all, and that is the customer experience. Assuring customers that they’re particular concern is just as important to us as it is to them makes a world of difference. We strive to be accessible to our customers…returning phone calls promptly, sticking to scheduled services, etc. go a long way in building relationships. We believe strongly that you cannot successfully build a business without building relationships’.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
We are a family-owned, local Pest Control and Wildlife Mitigation company. We currently serve the Greenville, Pickens and Anderson County areas. I believe we set ourselves apart from other pest control companies because of a unique fusion of customer service, attention to detail and dependability. While I could go into detail about the importance each of these three things individually, we have discovered that this is a winning formula for success. We are excited to continue to grow and become an asset to our local community.

I started this company because I believed we had the ability to provide a service beyond what is the norm. While many similar businesses bring the same know-how to the table, it’s the ability to have a real connection with the customers and share in their concern that sets us apart. The relationship with the customer must be at the heart of it.

We did have some challenges, of course. Licensing, insurance, startup costs, etc. are things that every business owner must figure out at the beginning. Starting any business will come with its share of hurdles, but a strong desire to share our experience and expertise in providing excellent service was more than enough motivation to keep moving forward. While we are always learning and growing, we have learned that the risk has been worth the reward!

Our message to our community is that is you are having a pest or wildlife issue…we’re here to help!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We love sharing our community with visitors! While Greenville and the surrounding area has so many amazing restaurants, breweries, coffee shops, etc., we do have our faves! We are HUGE fans of Southernside Brewery, Soby’s, and Mr. Cactus in Easley. Another place we always take our visiting family and friends to is Reedy Falls Park. For our coffee drinking visitors, Village Grind and Anthem Coffee are two great choices.
