We had the good fortune of connecting with Annette Atoigue and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Annette, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
Ms. Annette Atoigue founded InTHEknow360 in October 2021. One of her mission is service. Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would start off with a tour of the monuments in Washington, D.C. The Washington Monument, the Lincoln Memorial, the World War II Memorial, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, The Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial. Then, we would check out the Smithsonian Museums such as the Air & Space, American History, Natural History, African American History and Culture, and the National Museum of the American Indian. I love listening to classical music and opera so I would recommend the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Next, we would tour the National Harbor (Potomac River) in Prince George’s County, Maryland. There’s so many shops, restaurants, hotels, the Capital Wheel, and MGM National Harbor. Lastly, we would visit Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center and visit Veterans Growing America https://veteransgrowingamerica.com/. Veterans Growing America provides a forum for Veteran and Military Spouses to showcase and grow their businesses. Partnering with local, state and federal veteran organizations to increase their brand awareness.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to dedicate an unsung hero shoutout to MONSTA YO. MONSTA YO is a remarkable hip hop artist who recently collaborated with Snoop Dogg on the hit track “What You Talkin Bout.” Throughout his career, he has forged connections with several prominent figures in the hip hop world, including Rick Ross, Glasses Malone, Tha Chill, LongBeach EWill, P-Nice, DW Flame, Sean Kingston, Xzibit, Cappadonna from Wu-Tang Clan, Tayf3rd, Kurupt, Young Buck, Lord Daze, Realz Sinatra, and many more. In addition to his musical talents, Monsta Yo is a published author of seven books ranging from self-help books to children’s stories to gripping suspense thrillers. Most importantly, establishing a suicide prevention hotline, offering support and solace to those who feel overwhelmed by life’s challenges and have lost hope. What sets Monsta Yo apart, is his incredible ability to inspire and influence others. Despite being incarcerated, he continues to make a positive impact on countless lives.
