We had the good fortune of connecting with Aiko Finesse and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Aiko, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
Ever since I was a child, I’ve been deeply passionate about the arts. In elementary school, I expressed this passion through writing short stories. As I progressed to middle school, my love for creativity led me to start writing poetry. By the time I reached high school, my poetry evolved into spoken word, and I also began to explore the world of music composition and songwriting. Prior to embarking on a career as a DJ, I even pursued a path as a music artist.

It’s clear that my profound connection to the arts has its roots in my family. Both of my parents shared a love for creativity – my mother enjoyed dancing and playing music around the house, while my father harbored a dream of becoming a DJ and was also skilled in drawing. Thus, I can confidently attribute my career in the arts to the enduring influence of my parents’ passion.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What sets me apart is my musical versatility and my ability to connect with the crowd. I can seamlessly adapt to any music genre requested, and I carefully observe the audience to curate the perfect playlist for the moment. Reflecting on my journey since 2014, I’m incredibly proud of how far I’ve come. Achieving this progress required patience, experience, and a great deal of trial and error. If it were easy, many others would be doing it. I’ve overcome challenges by learning from my mistakes and knowing how to handle similar situations if they arise again. I’ve discovered that not every opportunity is a good one, and I’ve also learned to recognize my worth and acknowledge the value of the services I provide..

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We will certainly make a stop at Room Service, where the food is exceptional, and the ambiance is truly delightful. Legacy is another popular destination, with a wide array of restaurants to cater to various preferences. Your choice will ultimately hinge on your culinary inclinations. As for me, Riverfront Park ranks among my top favorites, offering a picturesque view of the river and providing an ideal setting for outdoor strolls.
