We had the good fortune of connecting with Abbey Mueller and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Abbey, what do you attribute your success to?
My success has come from my faith, discipline, policy and procedures, and showing up prepared. I have run several businesses over the years and consistency with payments, uniform, email communications, style, and customer service are integral. Supply and demand is what gets people to you, but how you serve them is why they stay.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’ve had a calling since October 26th 2006. God asked me to teach girls courage, love, and art. I have been doing this since then- first with a company called AbigailAcademy.com. This is where I have been teaching the Art of Confidence. I was healing as I was teaching, and we have been fortunate to teach through culinary arts, fashion arts, and three dimensional arts- all with the focus to teach girls life skills in a fun supportive environment while they flourished in their relationship with God.
The father, son, and Holy Spirit is a huge part of my art. The little girls I teach is in a classroom setting, via videos during our summer camps, and one on one life coaching.
My personal art is made in my studio with scripture on the back of each piece and prayed into for the recipient and also my time of worship while creating it.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?

Picnic: Pitt Street Bridge
Shopping: Consigning Women, Out of Hand in Old Village, Modern Manor

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My first business started from the Jack Canfield Vision Board kit, and a book titled a new pair of glasses. It was about perspective and mapping out your vision. My first vision board from the principles found in The Secret made my business come alive.
Aside from that book and artistic kit, I have my family and friends to thank. They are ambitious, healthy, high achievers with a rooted relationship with Jesus.
