We had the good fortune of connecting with Rachel Massey and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rachel, what matters most to you?
Ethics is the cornerstone of my approach to business because it reflects my commitment to integrity, trust, and long-term success. In real estate, where decisions impact lives and communities, operating with a strong ethical foundation ensures that every transaction is handled with honesty and fairness. This not only builds trust with clients but also fosters lasting relationships and a reputation that stands the test of time. By prioritizing ethics, I strive to create a positive impact, knowing that success achieved through integrity is the most meaningful and sustainable.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
What sets me apart is my unwavering commitment to personalized service and a deep understanding of my clients’ needs. I approach every transaction with integrity, ensuring that each decision is made in the best interest of those I serve. I take pride in building strong, lasting relationships, where clients feel truly heard and valued. What I am most proud of is how far I have come since the beginning of my career 5 years ago.

I started real estate school straight out of college because I knew 100% this was the career I have been wanting to pursue my entire life. The reason I got to where I am today is because I learned early on that being a “sponge” matters. Soaking in what every mentor has told me has not only helped me get to where I am, but it shaped my business plan. I was able to learn over those years what exactly makes a real estate professional successful. I was lucky to get experience in every area of real estate; transactions, marketing, assisting, showing, scheduling, etc.

There are a lot of “hard” lessons to learn in real estate. Real estate is truly learning as you go. One of the biggest lessons I learned the hard way is to know your worth in this business. If you do not understand your worth, the likely hood of being taken advantage of is high.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
