We had the good fortune of connecting with Travis Boyd and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Travis, where are your from? We’d love to hear about how your background has played a role in who you are today?
I am from Greenville, SC. My background was extremely rough but it taught me how to survive and handle the pressures of life. What I went through then has made me stronger today. I truly believe that without a test I would not have a testimony. Without some misery, I would not have a ministry. I am more ambitious, more motivated now because of everything I have endured.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I have written my first book but definitely not my last entitled ” TrapHouse 2 GodsHouse”. This book is a story about my life and how God changed it from what it used to be to what it is today. What sets me apart from others is that I am very versatile , a visionary and I’m creative. I am were I am today because of God, because I never gave up and because of determination. No it wasn’t easy, nothing I’m life is that’s just my opinion. The lessons I’ve learned is no matter what believe in yourself and if you change your mindset you can change your whole life. I didn’t allow my past to dictate who I am in my present nor have I allowed it to hinder me from reaching my destiny. I am anointed for purpose and empowered for change.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Eating places: Main Event, Top Golf, Crab Dijour. Ruth Chris, ChopHouse. Downtown Greenville. Museums. Art galleries. Fun parks etc.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Shout out to my Grandparents who raised me Mr. James and Helena Boyd. Shout out to Rev. John M. Cleveland & Frankie Cleveland for always being there for me. Shout out to my sister Debbie Boyd for constantly supporting me. To all of my children who are my motivation and last but not least to my brother Telly Boyd who I can confide in and has had my back since day one!
