We had the good fortune of connecting with Tromell Gavin and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tromell, we’d love to hear more about your end-goal, professionally.
The end goal is to have Suavé Visuals as a huge media company. I want to have short films, skits, schools, multiple studios, and etc. I want to create opportunities for other upcoming photographers, models, graphic designs, and editors

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Well I’m a photographer, videographer, and graphic designer. I was able to improve by becoming student of the art. Spending majority of my time on YouTube learning different editing techniques, angles, poses, shortcuts, etc . Personally I believe what helped me the most was constructive criticism and feedback. It was hard at first to decipher what was constructive criticism or what was someone’s personal preference. Once I got hold of that I was able to take bits and pieces of each person’s criticism and applied them to my business to better myself. I want people to know that my business was built through hard work and consistency. I didn’t complain I just played that hand I was given

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well I’m from a small town it isn’t really much to do here. So I would have to take them to Charleston which is a popular city in my state about 45 minutes from where I stay. I would take them downtown to let them see the beautiful scenery, jet ski riding, and probably top golf

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First, shoutout to God for blessing me with this talent. Second, I want to shoutout my family because through my whole journey they supported me heavily. Of course as I mentioned many times my cousin Keith aka KG is the one who put the camera in my hand and seen the natural talent that I had. My bro Rashad that I met along the way became a close peer and shared much knowledge that he had about the business when he could’ve easily seen me as competition. To my models that allowed me to try different themes and always gave great feedback so I could improve. I can honestly say that I had a solid surrounding around me during this process.
