We had the good fortune of connecting with Mario Cusano and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Mario, do you have any habits that you feel contribute to your effectiveness?
In my opinion, similarly to life itself, the habits and choices you make as a business owner will dictate the outcome of your overall product and well being.

When you start a business there are certain things you have to commit to to ensure the best possible outcome. Making sure you stay in good health (physically/mentally), surround yourself with positive people, and being as honest with people as possible are some of the habits I have found has aided our companies success.

What should our readers know about your business?
Integrity and customer service is what sets us apart from others. We take a lot of pride in making sure our customers are happier when we leave, then when we got there.

Being successful in anything is not easy. Without discipline, faith, and hard work I dont believe true success is possible.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My soon to be wife, Megan, definitely deserves a ton of credit for being there through all the ups and downs. When you start a business it’s an emotional roller coaster, and Megan makes the tough/stressful times way more manageable.

Also – My best friend/business partner Kameron Laue. He owns our affiliate company The Standard Landscape Solutions LLC. Being able to have sit down conversations about life and business is something I am very thankful for.
