We had the good fortune of connecting with Jessica Randall and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jessica, do you disagree with some advice that is more or less universally accepted?
The customer is always right.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Pink Mama’s started because I wouldn’t send my son to the ice cream truck so I decided to start my own. This industry isn’t regulated in many ways as far as drivers so I wanted a mom owned and operated one. That led to the opportunity to open a brick and mortar. As a risk taker I would rather lose it all than look back and think I missed it. I always knew there was something great inside me and I’m thankful I’ve been able to use what things I love to make this a success.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Greenville is full of things to do, eat and see. At this phase I’m a bit more of a homebody, but I would definitely get some outdoor activity on the Swamp Rabbit Trail, visit a good meat & 3, cocktails at Coral or Paloma & then chill at my pool aka the Mermaid Oasis

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My husband, Jon Randall. Without him I would not be where I am. I am a lot and not a lot of partners could play the role Jon has. Every crazy idea I have he helps get me there. Through this whole process I realized I am the visionary and he handles the details. We have been married 25 years and I am very proud of that! Not a lot of couples could work together on a daily basis. We have our ups and downs, but are committed to each other and this crazy life.
