We had the good fortune of connecting with Amanda Mitseff and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Amanda, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
Since Bill and I had our children, balancing life has definitely become more difficult. These days we are focusing on raising our boys and spending quality time with them over actively working daily. Because of our investments, we are able to not actively work which is a huge blessing. I still try to post on social media and continue affiliate marketing, but I’m not as consistent as I once was. Bill has slowed down on his real estate investments and cold calling for now to help with the kids. I am so grateful that we made some smart decisions early on so we can soak up this time with the boys while they are little, I know it goes by fast!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
We are always evolving. Whether it’s real estate investing or content creating… things are gonna change and you need to be able to adapt. Social media for example, changes every couple of years. TikTok is now the new thing and if you want to stay relevant, you need to adapt with the times. With real estate the rates are always changing, so you really need to understand the numbers to make sure that you make profit and make good financial decisions. We are also trying to create our village, become close with like minded families that have a similar goal. You are the company you keep!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Our newest investment property is located here in Fayetteville, North Carolina. It has the cutest downtown with plenty of things to do. Get pampered at Fusion Salon on Hay Street! I have been seeing Andrea for many years, and every time I go to Fusion it just feels like family. I love being creative so Greg’s Pottery on Maxwell Street would definitely be a priority. They also sell things from local artist in the area so it’s always fun to see what new items are there. There is a new place called Hummingbird Candle Company where you can literally make your own candle from scratch. I have not been yet, but I’m trying to get some girlfriends together to go check it out! You can not go wrong with eating at Blue Moon Cafe. I have not had a mixed drink there that I did not absolutely love. The food is amazing! Fayetteville is always growing due to Fort Liberty (Bragg) military base being so close.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My husband, Bill Mitseff is literally the reason we are so successful. He continues to help me push myself and helps me become the best version of me. I would still be renting properties and not accumulating any equity if it wasn’t for him. I would not know anything about real estate if it wasn’t for his hunger for knowledge and financial freedom. Bill also bought me my first camera when I first started YouTube, he’s always been so supportive of anything I do.
