We had the good fortune of connecting with King Fx Graphics and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi King Fx, why did you pursue a creative career?
Because I’ve been doing it since i was young, very young, I’ve always loved and had an eye for good art, i use to play on my grandmas computer all the time or just any computer i could get to in general and play with cliparts putting things together.

I’ve always loved music so i use to make a lot of artist posters and mixtape cover arts, i use to make collage pictures of me and my cousins, we would put them as our phone wallpapers lol i made some almost every day.

As i got older i still had a love for making art, i really wanna work on a big artists project one day hopefully one of my favorites, i started taking it serious once i got good feedback from other people, people i didn’t know, so that really turnt me up and made me take things to another level, treating it like a business instead of just a hobby.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m not afraid to try different styles and creative routes, things that might look strange or weird to the average audience.

I hate feeling like I’m stuck in a loop or just constantly making the same thing over and over, i like to branch out and try other styles like Alternative Rock, punk, or anything other than just rap or hip hop, it helps me expand my creative thought process and might open more opportunities for me.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I thank god first before anything, for giving me the passion to keep going and using the gift her gave me.
